LKQ, a complete service provider for the bodyshop industry, has introduced a series of ‘Show and Tell’ sessions for the latter half of 2025. These sessions will focus on the company’s Intelligent Repair Programme (IRP), aiming to help bodyshops achieve sustainable, profitable growth and access new revenue streams.
These hands-on, in-person events will be held at LKQ’s flagship LKQ Academy training centre at T1 in Tamworth. To ensure an intimate experience, each session will accommodate up to six bodyshop professionals and their account manager, allowing for close inspection of solutions and direct Q&A. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Morning sessions will demonstrate vehicle repair solutions, including LKQ’s Collision Repair Kit, Paintless Dent Removal Kit, Interior and Glass Repair systems, and the Chip Surgeon Kit. These tools facilitate faster, lower-cost, and higher-margin repairs, extending part life and reducing reliance on replacements.
The afternoon sessions will focus on alloy wheel repair solutions, showcasing equipment such as diamond cut lathes, diamond effect machines, wet and dry blasters, balancers, and tyre changers. This provides insights into bringing high-demand services in-house, opening new revenue streams, and maximising workshop productivity.
Additional training is available for purchase to ensure customers can confidently utilise the products. Bodyshops can book one or both sessions, with multiple dates available from August to December.
Lee Berridge, Head of Technical and Sustainability at LKQ, highlighted that these sessions address the industry’s cost pressures and growing demand to repair rather than replace. He stated that the ‘Show and Tell’ format allows customers to see solutions in action and make informed investment decisions, with all products and services backed by the expertise of LKQ Academy.
Interested bodyshops should contact their local account manager to reserve their place.
