First Line expands Brake Hose range with focus on enhanced fit and coverage

First Line Ltd. continues to strengthen its position in the braking category, with ongoing investment in its comprehensive range of Brake Hoses, ensuring consistent, reliable performance and safety.

All Brake Hoses in the First Line and Borg & Beck ranges are produced using high-quality hose materials that meet the SAE J1401 trade standard. Each hose is fully pressure tested for leaks during manufacturing. The range provides solutions for an exceptional spectrum of vehicles, from older legacy models through to the latest electric vehicles.

Kelvin Olds, Product Manager at First Line Ltd., commented: “Our Brake Hose range is one of the most extensive available to the aftermarket, offering over 2,400 live part numbers and coverage for more than 92% of vehicles on UK roads. We’re proud to maintain such breadth while ensuring every part meets rigorous quality and performance standards.”

The company remains committed to development, with regular new-to-range releases and gap-filling initiatives. First Line recently introduced a new ‘unbent coil type’ hose for selected Renault applications, BBH8328B, which offers technicians increased flexibility when fitting.

Olds explained: “Pre-bent hoses can sometimes be challenging to install in confined spaces. Our new unbent coil versions allow customers to reposition and reroute the hose more easily, improving both fitment and practicality. They’re also simpler to store and transport thanks to their compact, coiled design.”

Full product data is supplied to TecDoc, MAM, and First Line’s WebCat online catalogue to ensure accurate identification and seamless ordering.

Olds added: “As we continue to expand the range, our focus remains on quality, coverage and convenience. Every update – whether it’s a new reference or an innovation like our unbent coil design – is made with our customers in mind.”
