HELLA is actively involved in the Banbury community through ongoing charity work and participation in local events.
As a former long-term resident of Banbury, HELLA continues to maintain strong ties with the town, even after relocating its sales and distribution operations to Chipping Warden in 2015.
HELLA is a major sponsor of BCOC Live! 2024, a business event organised by the Banbury & District Chamber of Commerce. Neil Grant, Managing Director, will also participate in a panel discussion at the event, focusing on key themes such as “Thriving in Change” and “Winning the Talent War.”
Neil emphasised the importance of adapting to the evolving automotive landscape, including electrification, ADAS advancements, and autonomous driving. He also highlighted the need to attract more diverse talent to the automotive industry, addressing underrepresentation by females and young people.
HELLA has a long history in Banbury, having previously manufactured a wide range of products in the town. This connection was evident at the recent Banbury Festival of Motoring, where HELLA’s stand was well-attended by local residents.
Beyond business involvement, HELLA actively supports the Banbury community through charitable initiatives. During the summer, members of the team volunteered at The Sunshine Centre, a local family support hub, to paint play equipment.
Neil Grant expressed HELLA’s commitment to supporting the Banbury community, emphasising the strong ties that many employees have to the town. Through their involvement in local events and charitable activities, HELLA aims to make a positive impact and contribute to the community’s well-being.
