ifndautoparts, an online marketplace for buying and selling automotive parts, has reached notable milestones, with over 50,000 parts now listed and nearly 1,000 registered accounts. This growth follows successful appearances at motoring events and targeted campaigns within the aftermarket sector, drawing in both companies and individual sellers.
Director Mick Lunn commented, “The positive reactions we received from people who understood quickly that there was something they could benefit from through ifndautoparts is something really excellent.” He added that the influx of diverse users reinforces the platform’s value proposition.
The platform’s uncomplicated fee structure, which offers free listings and a 10% charge only upon sale, has attracted sellers from other platforms ahead of schedule. ifndautoparts is currently expanding its capacity to onboard larger sellers and manage increased part volumes.
Recent months have seen substantial growth, with listings increasing by almost 900% and accounts quadrupling between May and June. ifndautoparts continues to recruit sellers and buyers through digital, social media, and traditional marketing. A new campaign targeting car clubs has also begun, leveraging a commercial partnership with the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, providing access to a broad enthusiast base.
Mick Lunn highlights several advantages for enthusiasts: understanding their needs, a quick and cost-effective system, and the opportunity to help other enthusiasts find parts, thereby keeping classics on the road. This message will drive ifndautoparts’ strategy for the rest of 2025, with confirmed appearances at events like Traxx at Silverstone on 31 August, Classic Jap Fest at Goodwood on 4 October, and the National Classic Motor Show at the NEC Birmingham from 7 – 9 November.
