Laser Tools has introduced a new Rear Hub Nut Tool (part number 9187), specifically engineered for the MAXUS V90 and Deliver 9 vans (2019 onwards). This tool aims to make servicing rear brakes, handbrake shoes, or half-shafts safer and more efficient.
The tool is designed to accurately engage the 2-pin, 88mm Ø hub nuts, which are tightened to over 500Nm. This precision fit prevents damage to the nut or axle components during removal and refitting. Due to the high torque requirement, Laser Tools advises pairing the 9187 socket with a torque multiplier (e.g., part number 7318) or similar tool, and notes it is not suitable for impact tools.
Key features of the 9187 include a 3/4″ drive size and robust carbon-steel construction for maximum strength. Its specific 2-pin profile ensures a secure engagement with the factory Maxus hub nuts.
This new tool allows professional workshops and fleet operators to perform rear axle servicing on MAXUS V90 and Deliver 9 models quickly and accurately, helping to maintain vehicle uptime and reliability for commercial clients.
The Laser 9187 Rear Hub Nut Tool is now available from Laser Tools stockists and online retailers. For more information, please click here.
