Laser Tools has introduced a new General Purpose Spill Kit (part number 9222), designed to provide a quick and effective response to oil and fuel spills. The portable kit is suitable for workshops, service vehicles, and recovery trucks, helping to manage safety risks and reduce downtime.
With an absorbent capacity of approximately 26 litres, the kit is designed to handle small to medium spills. Its contents are packaged for fast deployment. The kit includes personal protective equipment (PPE) and various absorbents to allow a single technician to manage an incident safely.
The 9222 kit contains:
- Two absorbent socks (1,200mm x 76mm) for containment.
- Five absorbent cloths (300mm x 350mm) for wiping small spills.
- Ten absorbent sheets (500mm x 400mm x 4mm) for soaking up pooled fluids.
- One pair of protective gloves and one pair of safety glasses.
- One disposal bag and one cable tie for securing contaminated materials.
According to Laser Tools, having the kit on hand allows for immediate containment, reducing the risk of slips, contamination, and environmental spread. It is also designed to speed up the clean-up process and reduce workshop downtime following an accidental leak.
