Ring supports TyreSafe for tyre safety month

Ring Automotive is once again partnering with TyreSafe for their annual Tyre Safety Month campaign in October.

Ring has been a long-time supporter of TyreSafe, actively participating in events and promoting tyre safety awareness. This year, they are joining TyreSafe’s “Caught in the A.C.T.” campaign, which encourages drivers to regularly check their tires.

The “A.C.T.” acronym reminds drivers to:

  • Air Pressure: Maintain proper inflation for optimal performance and fuel efficiency.
  • Condition: Inspect tires for damage like cuts, bulges, or other issues.
  • Tread: Ensure sufficient tread depth for adequate grip and braking.

Ring offers a range of products to support drivers in maintaining proper tire care. Their cordless tyre inflator (RTC4000) is a popular choice, allowing users to easily inflate tires from flat. Additionally, Ring’s RTG4 Digital Keyring Tyre Pressure Gauge provides accurate readings and an integrated LED light for convenience.

Marketing Director for Ring, Henry Bisson, said: “During our partnership with TyreSafe, we have helped at multiple events checking people’s tyres, and they continue to raise our concerns, as a lot of the tyres we check have some sort of issue. Yet, this is why we need to keep beating this drum and discussing the importance of tyre safety and the potential consequences of drivers not looking after their vehicles, whether that’s lights, brakes, battery or tyres, in fact, every aspect of their car needs care and regular maintenance.

“Tyres are a vehicle’s only contact with the road and should be looked after a lot more than they are. TyreSafe understands just how important and safety critical tyres are, which is why we’re happy to partner with them for Tyre Safety Month again, as they continue to do incredible work in helping keep our road’s safe. So this October, make sure you A.C.T!”

By supporting TyreSafe and promoting tyre safety awareness, Ring aims to contribute to safer roads and reduce the risks associated with underinflated or damaged tires.
