The latest video release by Induction International Inc., manufacturers of the Mini-Ductor® Venom™ handheld tool, explains how technicians can use induction heat to remove tricky seat belt bolts in just four simple steps.
With the use of heat resistant gloves, overalls, goggles and a respirator mask, in case smoke will be produced from the heating, and a well-reviewed proficiency of the tools safety and operating instructions, the task should be quick and easy for any skilled mechanic.
- Step one: Select the right coil; pre-formed coils come in different sizes and can be bent to shape to suit the job.
- Step two: Secure the Coil onto the Mini-Ductor® Venom™ with Twist Lock™.
- Step three: Place the coil around the bolt and heat (be cautious not to overheat or turn red hot).
- Step four: Remove the bolt.
