Headline entertainment set to engage bodyshops at Automechanika Birmingham 2025

Automechanika Birmingham 2025, taking place from 3 – 5 June at the NEC, is preparing to offer more than just tools and training, with a line-up of entertainment, live interviews, and appearances from motorsport figures designed to engage the bodyshop community. Headline partners will deliver a packed schedule of appearances, expert sessions, and hands-on opportunities.

As Headline Partner for the Bodyshop Zone, FLP Group & Kapci Coatings (Stand AA70) will showcase a restored Nissan Skyline R33 GTR by DC Customs, refinished in Kapci Coatings’ custom three-stage pearl green and 6050 2K UHS Clearcoat. On Thursday, visitors can meet Darryn Coleman, owner of DC Customs and Kapci brand ambassador, who will share his experiences using Kapci’s product range. The team will also discuss their ULTIMATE Repair System, a British-made solution for efficient refinishing.

On Stand Z70, Repairify is partnering with AutoRaise, a charity dedicated to addressing the industry’s skills shortage by promoting apprenticeships and inspiring new talent. AutoRaise works with bodyshops to support high-quality training and career opportunities for young people. Visitors can learn how to support this initiative and contribute to the industry’s future workforce development.

Joanne Knowles, Event Director at Messe Frankfurt, organisers of Automechanika Birmingham, noted that headline partners are “going above and beyond” this year to bring unique content to the bodyshop audience. She highlighted the range of entertainment, including race car exhibits, expert talks, and exclusive meet-and-greets, all aimed at connecting with the trade and showcasing the industry’s energy and innovation.

With over 550 exhibitors, more than 50 product launches, and 150 hours of free technical training, Automechanika Birmingham 2025 aims to provide a comprehensive experience for business, inspiration, and enjoyment. The entertainment line-up supports the idea that professional development can be engaging, offering a chance for garages and bodyshops to learn from industry leaders, see high-calibre vehicles, and interact with those driving the aftermarket forward.

Whether the aim is to improve operations or engage with industry trends, the NEC will be a key destination this June. To register to attend Automechanika Birmingham, please click here.
