A man in his 30s has been left with life-threatening injuries after a fire at Wraysbury Motor Services, Berkshire, which police are treating as an “industrial accident”.
Emergency services were called to the site on The Green at approximately 15:35 BST on Saturday, 6 September. The injured man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Thames Valley Police are investigating the incident with support from the Health and Safety Executive. The force has appealed for witnesses and is asking for anyone with information, including dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage, to come forward.
Investigating officer Det Con George Randell said: “Several people from The Perseverance public house opposite went to the man’s aid so I would like to speak to any of those outstanding.”
