A new MOT and vehicle servicing centre, Northwood Autocentre, has opened its doors on Newport Road, Northwood, Isle of Wight, at the former Philips Fine Foods site. The centre will provide MOTs, general servicing, and repairs.
Owners Julian and Jocelyn Griffin bring considerable experience to the venture. Julian Griffin previously owned MOT providers in the Midlands and has worked with high-performance vehicles, including supercars, in Dubai. He stated that the garage maintains a high standard of cleanliness and workmanship.
Northwood Autocentre offers services such as car alignment, vehicle restoration, and classic car care. Julian Griffin confirmed they are prepared to examine a wide range of vehicles.
The facility stocks essential components including tyres, batteries, wiper blades, and oils. Additionally, it provides a collection and delivery service for customer convenience.
Richard Quigley, MP for Isle of Wight West, officially opened the new business. He expressed his support for the new establishment, highlighting its potential to offer good service and skilled employment opportunities.
Northwood Autocentre operates from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturdays.
