ZF looking to spread next generation mobility message at Automechanika, UK
ZF will be using Automechanika to showcase its next generation of products

ZF Aftermarket has said it will be using this year’s Automechanika in Birmingham on June 4-6 to share its key global messages about the next generation of mobility and how that will impact motor factors and garages.

Populated by ZF personnel, the stand – in line with the exhibition theme of innovation – will illustrate how the business is securing customers’ long-term business growth and preparing them for the future.

By combining a future-proofed service portfolio with an ever expanding product range, under the brands Lemförder, Sachs and TRW, ZF Aftermarket actively shapes and sets new standards for the next generation aftermarket.

The stand (Hall 20 Stand Q140) will highlight how the business incorporates ZF’s OE (original equipment) expertise to meet the requirements of a sustainable automotive aftermarket.

“By translating its OE and technological expertise into its offer, ZF Aftermarket has established a successful position as an architect and pacemaker for tomorrow’s mobility – for the next generation aftermarket,” explained Martyn Houghton ZF Aftermarket’s UK general sales manager, automotive.

Technicians can acquire key skills to master tomorrow

“Our offer of OE quality parts and services, access to ZF’s technical information and training courses, focused on high voltage vehicle safety, allows our partners to service the needs of today and at an early stage.

“They can acquire the key skills and qualifications they need to master the complexities of tomorrow.”

ZF Aftermarket has announced several developments in the past 12 months.

For example, a new generation of TRW brake pads developed specifically for electric vehicles under the name Electric Blue, and ZF Smart Service, a smartphone app and plug-in device that allows mechanics to carry out reliable vehicle diagnoses and basic maintenance work.

Information about these innovative developments, along with facts about its brands and service concepts will be available on the ZF Aftermarket stand.

“Automechanika is the most important event in the aftermarket calendar,” Houghton concluded.

“It allows industry members to illustrate their growth, innovation and development, and highlight how they are preparing for the future.”
