Why not ban all tyres over 10yrsc on all vehicles, I’ve mot tested cars tyres with cracked walls obviously perished with age , but pass and advise , surely they’re just as dangerous especially the faster ones ?

Any tyres over five years-=thats the manufactures guarantee for faults should be changed . Also part worn tyres stopped , scrap yards selling tyres also . Change of mot law at the moment we are seeing because of lock down tyres cracking in tread and sidewall but not through to cords we have to pass and advise
