I wish I had read reviews before booking with Servicing Stop to get my car serviced at a reasonable price £100. They then hit me with an extra £760 of work to be done, saying that it was necessary after me asking what actually needed to be done on the car for it to leave the garage. On reviewing the invoice and wanting to question some of the charges I tried to phone back only to discover that the number no longer worked and had to wait in customer service que for 30mins. At that point I was told that they couldn’t stop the work as it had already begun. I’ve since learned that this was a lie, after speaking directly to the garage they hadn’t started work on the car until later that evening. Would love to get professionals opinion on the price quoted and if you believe them to be a fair price? –
