Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading client within their Southampton based depot. The company have an excellent reputation and have been operating for over 40 years, they are looking to grow their team and have a vacancy to join them as a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with vehicles to join a company that can offer a stable career with good development opportunities.

In addition to the salary advertised there is potential for overtime.

The Role
This is a busy and varied role in which you will be responsible for working on a wide variety of light commercial vehicles. Duties will include:
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out thorough checks
• Conducting repairs to vehicles
• Supporting the parts team to ensure the correct parts are ordered
• Checking that all tests and checks meet requirements
• Competing relevant documents/administration relating to repair works

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will come from a vehicle technician / mechanic type background. This could be working on either commercial vehicles or private cars. A relevant level 3 qualification is desired but not essential. You will be well organised, have good communication skills and be capable of working in a busy environment.
