An arrest warrant has been issued for a woman who stole over £500 worth of parts from an MOT centre in Dorset.
Diana Walker, 35, previously admitted to theft and criminal damage charges but failed to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court for sentencing.
Walker stole a vehicle battery, motorcycle helmet, gloves, and other parts from Brook Road Garage in Wimborne in June 2023. She also caused £200 worth of damage to a trailer.
The court issued the arrest warrant after Walker failed to attend her scheduled sentencing hearing, despite previous failures to appear in court.
The maximum penalty for theft by finding is six months in prison or an unlimited fine. The maximum penalty for criminal damage is four months imprisonment or a fine of up to £2,500.
