Euro Car Parts received overwhelmingly positive feedback from more than 100 customers attending the recent Autoinform Live automotive training event.
Held at the GTG Academy in Wolverhampton, across the weekend of 25 and 26 November, Autoinform Live 2017 covered everything from MOT legislation and engine diagnostics, to an in-depth look at the hybrid transaxle on the Toyota Prius, plus tips on making your website number one on Google.
Making full use of the venue’s state-of the art workshop, tier one suppliers and automotive training experts delivered technical seminars to suit all levels of technician, and business seminars designed specifically for independent garage owners.
Richard Field from Field’s Car Centre in Woking, Surrey, won Service and Repair Outlet of the Year at the 2017 Car Dealer Magazine Awards.
“The whole event was very well organised from start to finish,” he said.
“There was a good variety of seminars, both technical and practical; the most useful ones for me were branding and social media.
“I’d certainly recommend Autoinform to other garages, it’s a not-to-be-missed opportunity.”
Martin Gray, chief executive officer of Euro Car Parts, said: “We were delighted to once again partner with Autoinform and see so many of our customers there.
“The feedback, as last year, was overwhelmingly positive, with many calls saying how much they’d enjoyed it and that they’d like to do it again.
“Regular, high quality training is vital for independent garages to stay one step ahead in this rapidly-evolving marketplace.
“That’s why we’ve invested so much in our Euro Academy, and why we highlight the importance of upskilling, particularly in relation to electric and hybrid technologies.
“Autoinform sets the standard in terms of promoting best practices and generally improving your business, we’re already looking forward to next year’s event.”
