Hot Rod Websites, a new service which promises to give independent garages the same website technology that’s traditionally been adopted for franchised businesses, is giving away free websites to garages as part of its launch campaign.
Three garages will be selected to win a free Hot Rod website, saving more than £1,300 on site setup, and a free year’s site support.
First for independents
Speaking exclusively to GW, a Hot Rod Websites spokesperson said: “This is a first for the independent sector.
“We’re giving garages access to the same website technology normally reserved for franchised businesses and much larger enterprises.
“It’s simply not been affordable for garages to play on the same field.
“Some businesses are forced to become online marketing experts and build their own sites, some buy bespoke websites from agencies at great cost, while others end up with a website that either doesn’t do their business justice, or doesn’t meet the needs of today’s car driver.
“Looking around, there are still lots of garages without websites and others that don’t function well on mobile phones or load very slowly and that could be affecting that garage business hugely.
“Our mission is to give garages the online platform their brilliant local businesses deserve at an affordable price.”
The people behind the new company, Hot Rod Websites boast more than 20 years of experience in the automotive and digital marketing worlds.
The service charges a fixed cost for website building, and then a rolling monthly cost to cover website hosting, domain and support.
The finished website is made live in under four weeks.
Hot Rod told GW that garages simply need to supply basic business details, select what services they offer and pick a modern template and theme colours.
All site content is professionally-written and the sites are built to perform in Google and other search engines fast.
To celebrate the launch of the service, Hot Rod is giving away three new websites with one year of free support to three lucky garages.
