The deadline for 2020/21 MOT annual training has been extended to April 30, 2021, the DVSA has confirmed. It now leaves five months remaining for MOT [See the full post at: MOT annual training deadline extended to April 30 2021]
The end of March was always a poor choice as those who were unable to pass the assessment by the deadline were suspended at the time of maximum demand.
As in 2021 most testers will be idle in April, May and June because of the date extension why not move the date to the end of June and keep it there in future.
