Watch: BTN explains how to identify a turbo
BTN Turbo provides advice on how to ID the correct replacement unit.

Turbo distributor, BTN Turbo has released a video explaining how technicians should identify the correct unit, saving them the time, trouble and inconvenience of receiving an incorrect part.

The company says that it can identify with over 90 per cent accuracy with nothing more than the vehicle registration number, but best way to source the correct part is to check the name plate or label on the failed part.

The name plate should contain at least one of the following pieces of information: turbo model, turbo manufacturers part number or vehicle manufacturers part number.

BTN says that it will supply the latest available version of the turbo.
