EEC to showcase latest Euro 5 and 6 products at Automechanika Birmingham

With an impressive core range of catalytic converters (CATs) and diesel particulate filters (DPFs), EEC prides itself on having the very latest Euro 5 and 6 products.

The core products are complemented by a range of exhausts, front pipes, accessories and additives, meaning EEC is the one-stop-shop when it comes to emissions products.

Ben Kendrick, UK sales manager, stated: “With the rise in demand for electric vehicles its apparent the infrastructure is not yet there to support them. The rise in used petrol- and diesel-powered car sales means it really is time to ensure factors and distributors have all options available to them for supply and confidence in the supplier’s availability.

”We are opening more and more doors with our new-to-range product, supporting UK parts sellers where others can’t.”

In January 2022, used car prices were up 31.3 percent compared to the year before. Now, they are 2.7 percent higher. People are keeping their cars for longer and this means servicing can become more regular and the maintenance of a cars exhaust system all the more important.

The majority of CAT failures in the UK are due to over fuelling as a result of air leaks within the system and other upstream issues. At this point the CAT is unable to continue performing the emissions reduction it needs to and engine management lights will appear as a result.

EEC also offers an aftersales service and technical advice. Ben added: “Its so important for the customer to be aware we are here to help. Our technical department have years of experience and are more than happy to point people in the right direction through onsite visits and technical seminars.

”Education on emissions products is vital to a customer growing the emissions side of their business.”

EEC will be showcasing its products and services at this year’s Automechanika in Birmingham on stand M103.
