Laser Tools has launched what it describes as a “nifty little gadget” for the safe removal and installation of stretchy drive/alternator and accessory belts.
Designed to aid technicians working with most stretchy-belt applications, Laser Tools says the stretchy-belt tool doesn’t cause damage to either the belt or the pulley.
A Laser Tools spokesperson said: “On the face of each side of the tool is a strong magnet to keep it in position as the pulley is turned to remove or install a new belt.
“As you rotate the crankshaft or pulley, the belt is eased steadily over the edge of the pulley.
“A robust and solid tool, it is zinc-plated for years of use.”
The new tool is now available now Laser Tools stockists.
