DRiV introduced the European aftermarket’s first replacement SCR system, for 2016 Ford Transit vans, in 2018.

The new Walker systems address repair opportunities for approximately 760,600 vehicles in operation, enabling aftermarket distributors and service providers to expand their shares of the emissions control service category.

Modern SCR systems manufactured by Tenneco comprise several components, including an additive tank that houses reducing fluid; a mixer ring that mixes the reducing agent with exhaust gases; an SCR catalyst; and an electronic control unit that works in conjunction with multiple sensors to ensure correct operation.

Audrey Harling, group vice president and general manager, EMEA Motorparts, Tenneco said: “The Walker brand is a trusted single source of original equipment-quality emissions control technologies.

“By choosing Walker, automotive workshops and mechanics can be certain they are installing the latest and best products available for their customers’ vehicles.”

In addition to its aggressive investment in new Walker products, Tenneco and DRiV Motorparts help fuel the success of aftermarket professionals through the Garage Gurus technical education and support platform.

The Gurus Online curriculum includes dozens of free interactive training modules available in nine languages and tailored to a variety of skill levels.
