Power-TEC has unveiled a new Paintless Dent-Repair Tool (part number 92662), which uses magnetic-induction heating technology to remove soft edged dents, including hail damage and carpark dings, on automotive bodywork panels quickly and effortlessly, without causing any damage to the paintwork.

With adjustable time and power controls, displayed on a digital interface, this tool provides precise and efficient dent removal.

The tool is a mains-powered induction heater specifically designed for removing soft dents on steel panels. With a remarkable performance, this tool can eliminate dents in as little as 30 seconds, saving time and effort in the repair process.

It operates on 230V single-phase power, drawing 1.8A and delivering an output power of 400W. It features adjustable time control, ranging from one-second to five seconds, allowing for precise application of heat to achieve optimal dent removal results.

The adjustable power control, ranging from 10 percent to 100 percent, provides further flexibility in controlling the intensity of the induction heating. All settings can be easily viewed and adjusted on the user-friendly digital display, ensuring accuracy and convenience during repairs.

Note that while the 92662 Paintless Dent-Repair Tool isn’t suitable for use on aluminium panels, it is CE and RoHS compliant, meeting international standards for quality and safety.

It also comes complete with a 1.5-metre power cable and a 3-metre repair head cable, providing ample reach and flexibility for various repair scenarios. The cables are designed for durability and ease of use.
