GW readers are being offered the opportunity try Euro Academy’s free online technical assessment tool, ‘technician assessment’.

The assessment gives workshops an overview of training gaps and the current technical ability of repairers.

Part of Euro Academy, the tool assesses the mechanical, electrical and diagnostic experience of repairers by asking 75 questions in 75 minutes.

The results indicate a technician’s strengths and weaknesses.

The results from the assessment allow workshop owners to gauge every repairers’ technical ability.

The information can then be used by businesses to create training plans, assess the ability of potential employees and identify skills gaps in the business.

Euro Academy

The Technical Assessment is part of Euro Car Parts’ training offering, Euro Academy, that was launched last year.

Experienced Master Technicians are also just a phone call away, saving you time and money.

Workshops that join Euro Academy are given access to technical information, including repair manuals, circuit diagrams, parts catalogues and component locations on any marque and model quickly and from a reliable database that sees over 2,500 repair updates added weekly.

The extensive training programme now has two purpose-built training centres and courses which cover MOT, mechanical, electrical, diagnostics, fault-finding and repairs for current vehicle systems.
