IAAF announces the winners of their popular annual golfing event
IAAF's annual golfing event brings people throughout the automotive industry together.

The first of the two-part golfing event was held at Worsley Park and saw the greatest number of teams that have ever taken part, congratulations were offered to the four-ball event’s overall winners – the team from Omega Tools Ltd (Ryan Wilson, Henry Pearce, John Chambers and Lend Armstrong).

Hot on their heels were the runners-up, a joint team consisting of Nick Barrett, Marc Read and Jamie Calder from Boswells and Involution.

Ryan Wilson of Omega Tools also managed to bag the longest driver, whilst nearest the pin was Andy West of SMPE.

Marc Read of Involution achieved the highest points total for the day.

Special congratulations were given to the Phil Parkin Memorial Team who narrowly missed out of the runners-up position and all players were treated to wine gums in memory of Phil Parkin, before settling for a barbecue.

The next event will be taking place at the Forest of Arden, Meriden on the tenth August.

Overall winners from across the two events will receive an invitation to attend the IAAF’s annual dinner, which will be hosted at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Milton Keynes on 7th December.
