NGK launches YouTube channel
The ignition specialist has announced the launch of its new YouTube channel.

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd has introduced a new YouTube channel which, it says, will “not only inform but also entertain.”

NGK Spark Plugs marketing manager, Mark Hallam said: “As a company we always strive to give our customers and users of our parts all the latest news and technical information in a user-friendly style.

“We currently supply information through our website and also our blogzine, ngktorque.com, and via all forms of social media and this is another platform which we hope people will log-on to and enjoy.”

New channel

The new channel includes a series of technical films on topics that include: the installation and tightening torque for spark plugs and glow plugs; glow plugs tips and tricks; controlling emissions using NTK Lambda sensors; installation positions for exhaust gas temperature sensors (EGTS); the removal and installation of ignition coils; and details of NGK’s renowned European research and development headquarters.

Plus, there’s all the thrills of the world of Dragster racing with a special film from Santa Pod ­starring Andy Robinson.

The Pro Mod racer, multiple championship winner and avid fan of NGK, currently holds the record for a British driver over a quarter mile with a time of 5.968 seconds and terminal speed of 239.05mph.
