Delphi Technologies has set the pace in more ways than one after rounding off April with a quartet of new first-to-market brake pads and its brand ambassador Kajetan Kajetanowicz winning the hotly contested WRC-3 category in the 2021 Croatia Rally.

Only weeks after revealing its first-to-market OE-specification brake pads for the 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and the 2020 Volkswagen Passat, the company has debuted aftermarket OE-specification brake pads for the 2019 Ford Puma, 2019 Kia Soul, 2020 Opel/Vauxhall Insignia and Land Rover Defender 90, 110 and Discovery.

Delphi Technologies launched the new first-to-market brake pads over a four-day period, spanning the 26th-29 April.

All are immediately available from all Delphi Technologies stockists, continuing the company’s commitment to helping motor factors and garages to remain stocked for the latest versions of some of the most popular models and, in particular, support customers who maintain large fleets.

The company’s OE-supplier status ensures it can continually grow its first-to-market brake pad offering.

With its insight into upcoming aftermarket trends and requirements, plus its extensive testing and development facilities, Delphi Technologies can efficiently transfer its expertise and learnings to enhance its first-to-market brake pad portfolio.

The Delphi Technologies components match the OE part 100 per cent in terms of quality, performance and durability and allows the company to offer over 99 per cent brake pad coverage of all vehicle manufacturers in the EU.

The reveal of the new first-to-market brake pads commenced the day after Delphi Technologies brand ambassador Kajetan Kajetanowicz won the WRC-3 category in the 2021 Croatia Rally, which took place from 22-25 April.

Together with his co-driver Maciej Szczepaniak, Kajetanowicz drove the LOTOS Rally Team Skoda Fabia Rally Evo to the category win and 11 overall after winning four special stages and recording 17 top-three results, with only factory teams finishing ahead.

The Polish driver has been sponsored by Delphi Technologies since 2017 and in the same year became the first-ever competitor to achieve three back-to-back European Rally Championship (ERC) titles, cementing his position as one of Europe’s best rally drivers.
