A man was left red-faced after crashing a new £207,000 Porsche 911 GT2 RS just over a mile from the showroom.
The unnamed man was thought to be taking the car, of which there are only 1,000 in the world, for a test drive in Penarth, Wales when he became involved in a five-car pileup.
Witness, Hywel Williams said: “The guy had only just picked it up from Porsche around the corner and he claimed the brakes failed.”
The Porsche suffered serious damage to its front wing and wheels.
South Wales Police confirmed they attended the scene of a five-car road traffic accident in Penarth.
