Technicians advised to upskill with digital training

The COVID-19 pandemic will likely accelerate the adoption of digital tools and garages should be encouraging technicians to utilise online training courses, Autotech Recruit has said.

With training courses now deliverable online, Autotech Recruit says the entire aftermarket should grasp new opportunities.

Simon King, managing director at Autotech Recruit said: “Technology will continue to shape the automotive industry but for some time the aftermarket has trailed behind.

“In these unprecedented times now is the time to take full advantage of the tools available to not only ensure garages run at optimum capacity, but to maintain social distancing with customers.”
