Jörg Engels, director brand management in the automobile spare parts business at MANN+HUMMEL, said: “We are very proud that consumers and industry experts alike have expressed such trust in and appreciation for our FreciousPlus cabin filter.
“The MANN-FILTER FreciousPlus has both an anti-allergen and anti-microbial effect and we are delighted that our customers recognize the many advantages that this product has to offer.”
With more than 70 types of filter, the FreciousPlus product range already covers around 60 per cent of the market for passenger vehicles and transporters in Europe.
Biofunctional coating
The unique feature of FreciousPlus is its biofunctional coating that not only binds allergens, but also prevents mould and bacteria from entering the passenger compartment through the ventilation.
The high-performance filter medium additionally eliminates almost all harmful particulate matter, while another layer retains unpleasant odors and harmful gases such as ozone, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide.
MANN+HUMMEL, an expert in filtration solutions and development partner and original equipment supplier to the international automotive and mechanical engineering industries, manufactures biofunctional filtration technology for more than just the original equipment business. In the independent automotive aftersales market, this technology is available in the FreciousPlus cabin filter from MANN-FILTER.
MANN+HUMMEL has filed patents for this innovative filter technology with the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as in other countries.
