A determined motorist did his best to avoid having his car impounded by reversing it off the truck in an amusing exchange with traffic wardens.
The footage shows a group of Irish men, women and children crowding around ‘Arthur’ during his failed escape.
As the driver floors the accelerator, the restraints snap and the car flings up into the air.
It then becomes stuck on the corner of the truck but ‘Arthur’ continues to rev the engine as friends and family shout out suggestions before finally he realised he isn’t going to free his car.
