Arnott, the aftermarket air suspension manufacturing company, explains how these parts are manufactured.

Manufacturer of replacement aftermarket air suspension products and accessories, Arnott has revealed details of its remanufactruing process.

Arnott has remanufactured OE air suspension struts for more than 30 years, providing an affordable replacement option that supports the auto-levelling and active damping functionality of the OE shock, and has the exact fit and functionality of OE.

Each Arnott part is engineered to improve strut longevity while providing a plug and play installation.

The specialist has processed millions of OE cores, identifying their most common failure points and has sought to engineer improvements upon them while maintaining auto-levelling and active damping.

Each used strut is carefully inspected and disassembled, steam cleaned, and spin-blasted to bare metal.

Using a proprietary process, Arnott technicians recharge many of the shocks, replacing worn oil with new high-performance shock oil.

Worn internal components are replaced and the recharged shock is sealed with a new CNC-machined aluminum cap.

Each shock is then computer Dyno-tested as well to assure OE durability and performance.

Every remanufactured strut is expertly repainted with corrosion-inhibiting paint for a professional finish.

Skilled assemblers rebuild each strut by hand with new, longer-lasting seals, a multi-ply premium-brand air bladder, heavy-duty crimping rings, and other tier one components.

The remanufactured part is quality tested throughout the build ensuring only the best are delivered to our customers.
