The DVSA has announced that it is making changes to its MOT testing service security questions and testers can now register a third security question and answer.

The agency has confirmed that it will make it mandatory to have a third question within the coming months but urges testers to add a third question as soon as possible.

The MOT testing service now switches at random between questions whenever testers need to log into the MTS without their card.

Testers will only have to enter one answer each time they log in using security questions.

A DVSA spokesperson said: “You can now add a third security question and answer to your MTS profile.

“To do this, go to your profile in MTS, click on ‘change security question’, then add your security questions and answers.”
