IAAF confirms virtual format for 2021 conference

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) is continuing with its popular virtual conference format for 2021, as the industry and country continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The federation’s annual conference, which will take place on Thursday 2nd December, has grown significantly in the past 10 years, with over 300 industry personnel attending the virtual conference in 2020.

The format will continue for a second year and also host the Federation’s “Pride of Aftermarket” awards.

A packed line-up for the must-attend event will be released shortly and will also mean the Federation’s annual dinner will look to re-commence in December 2022.

Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: “The IAAF Virtual Conference 2020 was so well attended, and its valuable content provoked high engagement among delegates. We will look to expand on this in 2021, with an even larger programme to ensure we continue to provide enormous engagement for the industry.

“While we would all very much like to attend an event in person, the Federation believes the most effective way to run its highly informative conference is through its virtual platform, as the industry continues to emerge from a highly unpredictable and challenging period.”

The IAAF continues to remain highly active on lobbying issues, holds regular virtual meetings and, provides additional support and information to assist members throughout the pandemic.
