More than 100 delegates from across Scotland, northern England and Ireland attended this year’s Autoinform Live at the GTG Academy in Glasgow over the weekend of the 14 and 15 of April, declaring the event a resounding success.
The Scottish event aims to make the wealth of knowledge shared at Autoinform Wolverhampton available to the industry professionals north of the border, giving them access to OESAA-approved, high quality training.
ADS Automotive’s Dave Massey delivered an interactive, ‘how-to’ workshop on the benefits of search engine optimisation (SEO), giving garage owners the tools to enhance their business’ online presence themselves.
Commenting on Autoinform Live Scotland, Dave said: “The show has been a massive success, and all of my seminars throughout the weekend were really busy.
“This morning, a guy who attended the show in Wolverhampton came back to see me especially, just to thank me.
“He took on board what I told him during the presentation, and said that in one quarter alone his business had grown by 97 per cent.
“That’s why we’re here. We’re here to help one another, to share knowledge and to see other people’s businesses grow.
“You can’t put a price on that.”
Saturday night’s Gala dinner, held at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow, featured the comic talents of Dave Fulton and allowed delegates and trainers alike the chance to network and discuss the day’s activities.
Technical services manager at Schaeffler, Malcolm Short said: “Once again, we’ve had another fantastic weekend of learning.
“We’ve also had some new suppliers here this weekend, and they’ve loved it.
“All the attendees think this is the best show ever, and they say that at every single show, which is good because it means that we’re improving.
“I’m really looking forward to the next one.”
