Hickleys celebrates another successful Simply Keys event

Hickleys would like to say thank you to all those who attended the Simply Keys 2023 at the GTG Centre in Wolverhampton.

Summer must mean it’s that time of the year when Hickleys pack up its storerooms and heads to the West Midlands.

This year was no exception; two full truckloads of stock and equipment were sent from Somerset to the GTG Centre in Wolverhampton. With everything from remote keys and transponders to key cutting machines and commercial quality tooling, there was something for everyone in the auto and domestic locksmithing industries.

Long-term partners Advanced Diagnostics, Silca and IEA ZedFull had large stands with their market leading locksmith equipment, as well as vehicle demonstrations and once-a-year special offer deals on hardware and software.

GYS showcased its wide range of premium battery support and management products, and demonstrated its new EV charging solution.

New to Simply Keys this year were the team from Core Diagnostics. Core looks after Hickleys’ DTS customers with its remote diagnostic and key programming solution.

By merging the DTS service with the support that Core can provide, Hickleys can now offer an ever-growing number of remote solutions.

Meanwhile, Advanced Diagnostics Smart Pro and the ZedFull Plus showed off their prowess on some of the latest Toyota, Ford, Vauxhall and Renault models.

Simply Keys is renowned as the one time of the year you can get absolute bargains on day-to-day necessities such as software and tokens. Huge savings could be made on Advanced Diagnostics tokens, software and accessories. IEA and ZedFull also had big discounts available on Credits and LIFS.

2023 saw a suite of exclusive offers for Hickleys’ ‘Locked In’ members. Locked In was launched a year ago at Simply Keys 2022 and is a free scheme that includes warranty and tech support for premium key programming units as well as up to 20 percent discount on purchases of keys, remotes and transponders.

The only requirement to stay on the scheme is a minimum monthly spend on keys and remotes. This year members were able to obtain their discount at the show for the first time.

Fun and games were available via the Hickleys Arcade, which this year featured a Crystal Maze-style Cash Grabber with guaranteed prizes, plus a Crack The Safe. Both proved very popular and lucky (or skilled) winners took home thousands of pounds in prizes including Advanced Diagnostics software, ZedFull credits, Mercedes programming packs, Hickleys merchandise and three Pure e-scooters.

Simply Keys will return in 2024.

Have your say!
