MAHLE Aftermarket added to OESAA Academy Live line-up after joining association

The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association has announced that MAHLE Aftermarket will present at OESAA Academy Live after agreeing to join the organisation.

MAHLE Aftermarket Quality and Technical Manager, Alan Povey, will showcase filtration and emphasise the importance of servicing at Lincoln College (13 and 14 January), while thermal management and common issues and scenarios associated will be the main talking point at Castleford College (24 and 25 February).

With seminars designed specifically for apprentices participating during Friday’s sessions and professionals on the Saturday, OESAA Academy Live represents a “powerful opportunity” for MAHLE Aftermarket to take its plethora of knowledge, package it up into bitesize pieces and share to a diverse audience.

MAHLE Aftermarket Sales and Marketing Manager, Jason Smith, said: “Joining OESAA was an easy decision and a great opportunity to work collaboratively with other OE suppliers in showcasing the products we have available, and what we envisage the future will look like as we shape the future of mobility.

“We are excited to get started with the Academy Live shows and share our knowledge and vision with workshops and help support the aftermarket in keeping up with the rapid pace of change.”

OESAA chairman, Nigel Morgan, added: “Our vision of OESAA Academy Live and the future of the organisation, whereby we support automotive professionals with current, vital technical and business resources, as well as be the launchpad for the next generation, is inspiring our members – and I’m thrilled MAHLE Aftermarket has joined our mission.”

MAHLE Aftermarket is an established and renowned brand – one instantly recognised by automotive professionals.

It boasts an eclectic range of products, but all are made with the same high-quality standards that make them trusted at both OEM and aftermarket levels.

The portfolio includes engine components, gaskets, filters, engine cooling, rotating electrics and air conditioning.

MAHLE Aftermarket also has plenty to offer to EV manufacturers and the garages receiving these vehicle types; that will include the release, in 2023, of the BatteryPro servicing tool.

The manufacturer also produces many components at OE level, such as DC and AC motors, brushless permanent magnet motors, regulators and master control units, which “we are looking at for the aftermarket in the future”.

Earlier this year, MAHLE Aftermarket launched TechTool, which is a comprehensive but easy-to-use resource that allows professionals to delve into the technical processes around thermal management – what’s more, it’s free to use.

Users can utilise TechTool by searching for information either by vehicle category or individual part numbers.

The platform also provides helpful material on systems, which includes interactive, visual diagrams.
