Sykes-Pickavant has launched a new disassembly tool that makes it possible to remove the drive shaft inserted in the gearbox.
This tool is for the quick and efficient extraction of the drive shaft by breaking the internal circlip which holds it in place. This is a problematic job due to the tapered edge which compresses the internal circlip.

How to use the tool:
- Insert the tool between the drive shaft and gearbox.
- Use a slide hammer and hit the end of the tool.
- The circlip should now be broken, allowing the drive shaft to be easily removed.
The part number you need is GO068.
