A car passing its MOT is more thrilling than getting a notification of a match on a dating app or getting paid early, a recent survey of 2000 UK adults shows.
An MOT pass was ranked 15th on the list of the nation’s ‘little thrills’, according to a quarter of respondents (24 per cent).
Thirteen percent of those questioned by Tesco said getting their car cleaned for free when they go to a garage is another ‘little win’, while finding a full tank of fuel in the car was mentioned by nine percent of the respondents.
There’s no evidence to suggest that customers expect the car to be washed and the tank brimmed when they return to collect their car from the garage. With a fresh MOT, of course…
