Mahle Aftermarket UK, distributors of the ArticPRO range of air conditioning service units, is urging garages to service their customer’s cars in an “ecological, economical and efficient way.”
The five model range caters to the differing refrigerants that are required.
The entry level ACX 120 is designed for HFC-134a refrigerant, whereas the ACX 220 is for HFO-1234yf.
Mahle say the units have an alphanumeric keypad and USB ports that deliver remote service support, software updates to the unit and air conditioning refrigerant reports.
The ACX 120 and ACX 220 can service passenger cars, heavy duty vehicles, agriculture and hybrid vehicles and reduces service times due to the 170L/min vacuum pump and deep vacuum feature, Mahle says.
The PROfessional ACX 150 and ACX 250 are the same units dependent on the refrigerant, the ACX 150 is designed for the HFC-134a and the ACX 250 is intended for the HFC-1234yf.
Premium A/C servicing
The ACX 280 unit will service HFC-1234yf refrigerant and includes an integrated refrigerant identifier, a choice of fully automated service or individual processes and an automated vacuum check and pressure test prior to filling the refrigerant back into the vehicle.
The ACX 280 also has direct access to components on the inside of the unit through service doors, as well as the unit having a separate fresh oil circuit for PAG and POE oil.
