Automotive repair giant Kwik Fit is to join the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF).

The company, with more than 600 centres nationwide, will support IAAF’s growing network of garages, parts distributors and suppliers and work closely with the Federation on lobbying and campaign issues such as Motor Vehicle Block Exemption Order (MVBEO) and MOT testing.

Mark Field, IAAF chief executive, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Kwik Fit into the federation. With its universal reach and proud history, the company will play a very active role in championing the rights of the independent aftermarket to ensure that competitive choice is maintained.

It’s an exciting time for the Federation as we look to build on the member experience and unite in taking the UK aftermarket’s message wider than ever before.”
