It’s not known if the car was reversed over the edge or if it rolled back out of the workshop.
Halfords have declined to comment about how the car got into the position but a spokesperson has said: “At Halfords Autocentres we carry out over 20,000 fittings and services every week and believe in the highest levels of service.
“We are looking into the full details behind this picture.”
