Banner Batteries campaign targets CV sector

New literature promotes technical capabilities of CV range

Banner Batteries campaign targets CV sector
Suitable for all commercial vehicles, it is a battery family that today stands as the preferred original equipment choice of the likes of Mercedes Trucks, Liebherr, Kässbohrer, Kubota and Caterpillar.

Banner Batteries has bolstered its library of technical product support literature having published a six-page capabilities brochure dedicated to its heavy-duty commercial vehicle and plant starter batteries.

In addition to detailing the technical and performance characteristics of the three models – Buffalo Bull, Buffalo Bull SHD and Buffalo SHD Professional Pro – the literature also contains a useful section that details the technology, quality and enhanced safety features that are inbuilt into the popular Buffalo Bull range.

Representing the ultimate in terms of quality, durability and power delivery, the top-of-the-range SHD PROfessional is a Buffalo Bull with a difference.

Maintenance-free, it is designed and manufactured to perform in both stop and go and cold start environments.

Key features include Banner Batteries’ use of a continuous ConCast process for the production of negative mesh to increase frame stability and reduced production tolerances.

‘Optimum electrical conductance’

New mesh and plate design provides optimum electrical conductance and ensure the battery is insensitive to high current loads, which is a clear advantage for full cold start performance under all operational conditions.

Echoing the SHD PROfessional’s ability to withstand cyclical and vibration resistance to a top E4/V3 rating pursuant to EN 50342-1, Buffalo Bull SHD is an equally powerful and rugged performer.

So too is the entry level Buffalo Bull that is available for niche and supplementary types of agricultural machinery and unusual commercial vehicle applications.

Lee Quinney of Banner Batteries said: “The CV and plant sector is an increasingly important business area for Banner Batteries, and is one where will be focusing our energies moving forwards as the new technical literature demonstrates.”

Copies of the new literature are available from Banner Batteries, or ‘more details’ below to view now.
