As the UK’s leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket, last June’s Automechanika offered EDT Automotive the unique opportunity to demonstrate its decontamination treatments to garages from all across the UK in one place.
Exhibiting on stand S163, the EDT display will feature both the engine decontamination and auto transmission machines, and the team will be on hand to demonstrate how just one treatment could significantly improve vehicle driveability.
The EDT engine decontamination machine thoroughly cleans the engine’s oil system, preparing it to receive new oil which is free from contamination.
This improves the engine’s coefficient of friction, allowing the new oil to perform to its maximum capabilities, which has a dramatic, money-saving impact on fuel economy, CO emissions, engine performance and drivability.
Last year, EDT’s on-stand demos resulted in nine garages taking advantage of an exclusive show promotion of free installation, an offer which is set to be repeated at this year’s event worth a staggering £1,200 + VAT.
CEO David Holmes will be joined by area manager Shaun Welch and technical Adam Woodcraft to talk people through the fuel-saving, emissions-busting technology employed by EDT.
“We were delighted with the impact our machines made at last June’s Automechanika,” said David.
“Signing up so many garages – including some in open point locations – and networking with technicians from all over the UK demonstrated the power and the reach of the event.
“I’m looking forward to repeating that success and showing even more people the effectiveness of our technology.”
