WhoCanFixMyCar.com (WCFMC) has said that Joe Stevenson, owner of Delilahs Tyres and Service in Farnborough, has demonstrated that “with hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and perseverance the sky really is the limit”.
Using the online platform, Joe was able to browse through the thousands of car repair posts and choose the work that he wanted to complete.
By providing drivers with quotes in between working on jobs, Joe has clinched top spot on the WCFMC national league table for June.
Joe said: “I joined [WCFMC] in April this year and I think that the platform is incredibly helpful, I’m living proof that the system works as it acts as the perfect middle man in finding new customers.
Traditional advertising
“Traditional advertising is far less impactful than it used to be and everything is moving online so it’s clear to see how important WCFMC is to my business.
“I would be putting leaflets through people’s doors otherwise and that isn’t practical at all.
“I’ll be employing somebody to send quotes to driver’s full time which will allow me to focus on repair work, in six months I hope to be covering the whole of the south east and in a year to have moved into the south west as well.
“I am planning to make enough money over the summer to be able to work part time over the winter and that’s only possible because of WCFMC.”
Joe is currently raising money for the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative fund is planning a mammoth journey across Europe in a car covered in chalk paint.
He said: “We wanted people to be able to sign the car and donate all the way along our journey to help raise money for a charity we cared about.”
