Manbat’s battery look-up site gets further improvements
Manbat announces further improvements to its battery finder portal.

Following the successful launch of its battery look-up website, Manbat has introduced the second phase of its development plan and added a new trade login area, which provides factors, workshops and fleet operators with a specific section for access to additional information, such as fitting instructions and product related data.

Users enter the registration number into the search box and the new look-up website will use a sophisticated VRM look-up database to locate the correct car and provide access to its vehicle-specific details.

This information naturally includes the exact specification of the battery for which it is designed, and therefore provides an absolute assurance the battery is the precise replacement the vehicle manufacturer has specified for that model.

Battery specification sheets

By creating a free account users can login and access other helpful information such as battery specification sheets, as well as battery handling information and do’s and don’ts when it comes to batteries both installed on a vehicle and stored in a warehouse.

The site also allows users to find the correct battery replacement through the vehicle’s own specific identification or VIN number, which it then links through to the database in the same way as the VRM search, the second is a vehicle search menu.

Here, users have an easy and intuitive suite of drop-down boxes to locate the vehicle in the shortest possible number of selections. Both routes allow them to make the identification process extremely quick, while maintaining the accuracy they need.
