A professionally converted tractor from MANN-FILTER’s Europe-wide project – ‘for all vehicle lovers’ – is to be auctioned off for charity.
MANN-FILTER presented the result of its conversion campaign at an exclusive unveiling in the halls of the Classic Remise in Berlin.
TV presenter and automotive mechatronics technician Lina Van de Mars said: “I’m particularly delighted that a tractor won the voting because it’s not every day that you convert a vehicle like that.
“We’ve created an exceptional one-off vehicle with fantastic special functions and are extremely proud to now be able to present this party machine.
Jörg Engels, director brand management automotive aftermarket MANN+HUMMEL, said: “Our automotive experts Lina Van de Mars and Jo Scholz have done a great job in recent months.
“Now, we’re looking forward to finding a new owner.”
The online charity auction of the MANN-FILTER campaign will end on June 27.
The handover of the tractor to the highest bidder and the donation to UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund, is planned to take place in mid-July in Ludwigsburg.
Participants in the MANN-FILTER campaign, ‘for all vehicle lovers’, were able to vote on which of four commercial vehicles they wanted to have converted.
