Cataphoresis technology ensures trouble-free service on Land Rover Freelander

MOOG finds solution to common rear track control problem
Federal-Moguls Easy Solution Bulletin (ESB).

Federal-Mogul Motorparts has released its latest MOOG Easy Solution Bulletin (ESB), detailing a common problem found with rear track control arms on ’98-’06 Land Rover Freelander’s.

The adjustable design of the rear track control arm is vulnerable to rust, in particular on the threaded part which is open to the elements.

This creates difficulties when wheel angle adjustments are required during service.

MOOG has applied a cataphoresis coating – an automated process of painting by immersion – and grease on the thread in order to provide maximum rust protection for these moving components ensuring trouble-free adjustments are possible during service.
