A man was left red faced after he accidentally smashed a Lamborghini Aventador into a showroom window while setting the car up for a photo shoot.
Two other supercars, believed to be Ferraris, were also damaged during the incident at Amari Supercars in Preston.
Eyewitnesses watched on in horror as the car, which is is capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in just 3.4 seconds, lurched forward into the showroom window.
One said: “It looked like it had jumped over others inside the showroom and was a right mess.
“I’ve never seen anything like it.
“I think the young lad hit ‘launch control’ or something – that’s why it suddenly shot forward.”
Another said: “The Lambo was in a right state and so too was the bloke who’d been driving it.
“An ambulance came and he got in with his face buried in his hands as if to say ‘What have I done?’”
Showroom declined to comment but the director is reported to have dismissed the incident as a ‘minor incident’.
